Rock 'n’ Stockholm

Why do we like a song better than another one? It is obviously about lyrics, beats and instruments. But it is also about a special story. When did you hear this song for the first time? With whom? Were you sad, excited, drunk, or euphoric?

I’m turning my iPod on, walking these streets I don’t know anything about. It’s the best feeling when you travelling. Going to every single corner of every street, smelling urban perfume, looking at the sky, taking some pictures. It is exactly the same sensation as meeting a new girl. Looking at details and trying to get the best, all the time.

Grey but colourful, underground but authentic, cold but romantic. Like Berlin or London, Stockholm is one of the places to be. Beautiful architecture, historical monuments, nice bars and coffee lounges, amazing second hand stores, and the mythic H&M stores, pretty much everywhere, in the city centre.

Is there a favourite place? Not really. Every single area has something unique. T-Centralen if you want to meet young people, have a lunch, buy stuff in Carlings, Din Sko, JC or visiting the huge museum.

The old city if you like peaceful and wonderful spots. The streets are tiny, the architecture is beautiful, and the small bridges are just the best to have a lovely chat with your girlfriend.

Are you single? No problem. Just go to Södermalm and you’ll find the best second hand stores ever. Shoes and bags for women, leather jackets and pants for men. You’ll find amazing clothes and get such a good style. It’s a perfect place to hang out with your friends, having fun at Debaser or checking out the Swedish jetset at Stureplan.

Anyway, Stockholm is a great soundtrack you can listen to whoever you are, whatever you feel like. Singing, dancing, screaming, kissing, or relaxing. A mix of different atmospheres. A cool city, made in Sweden.
